Ben didn’t grow up living in Hawaii neighborhoods like the ones he’s now so familiar with. His Midwest upbringing and military family saw him moving around the country often as a child. These beginnings gave him a solid foundation of not only work ethic, but what it means to care about people and their unique situations in life. Early on, Ben was inclined to work hard; landing his first job at 14 years old and saving up money to purchase his first car, a sweet 1987 Cutlass Supreme. Later he headed to college at Missouri State University and eventually landed in Hawaii in 2010, where he graduated from Hawaii Pacific University. After working locally for several years in tourism and technology with a Fortune 500 company, Ben shifted gears and decided to pursue real estate; an industry that allowed him to combine his knowledge & love of the Hawaiian Islands with his passion for consulting and serving others.
Building relationships, connecting with people, and seeking guidance from a valuable mentor led Ben to become a top-producing agent in a crowded field. Ben believes a Realtor® in 2022 should be more helpful than an application on your phone. They should be skilled in negotiations and well-versed in real estate contracts. They should know each neighborhood, what condo buildings have issues, what future developments may block your view, and should be entirely plugged in for the local market.

In his free time, Ben enjoys bodysurfing on his local surf break, hiking, and enjoying quality time with his son Julian and his wife Christiana, as well as his sulcata tortoise and his dog, Korra.
